MMC’s specialist Community Engagement team connects organisations directly with multicultural communities through meaningful, face-to-face engagement.
At the heart of our approach is the MMC Community Ambassador Network (CAN) – a grassroots network of people who reflect the communities they engage.

Campaign Visibility and Driving Action
Our ambassadors bring campaigns to life within local communities. Through face-to-face conversations and the distribution of campaign materials, they increase visibility, answer questions, and encourage people to take action. From promoting screening services to supporting the transition to eVisas, our grassroots approach helps turn awareness into engagement and behaviour change.
On-the-Ground Engagement
They deliver tailored outreach in the places communities already know and trust. From high streets and shopping centres to community events and places of worship, we create safe and culturally relevant opportunities for conversation. This helps campaign messages feel more accessible, credible and relevant.
Capturing Community Insights
Every engagement is two-way. Alongside sharing information, our ambassadors gather valuable qualitative and quantitative insight from the communities they engage. They capture questions, concerns, experiences and barriers, helping organisations better understand their audiences.
